In August, 2009, Yossi offered to lead parties of the guests at my daughter’s wedding around Jerusalem and beyond.
I went on two of the three free tours he arranged. The first was a tour of the old city of Jerusalem, and the second, an expedition to Masada, the Dead Sea and Ein Gedi.
Yossi has an exceptional knowledge of Israel, its history, geography, and of Judaism. Allied with this is his infectious enthusiasm and love of his country. Yossi was able to answer all our questions, entertain us with his stories and wit, and kept us enthralled. He never overloaded us with what he knew but always said just the right amount.
He was very sensitive to the particular interests and backgrounds of his party and made an effort to get to know us all. He was punctual, kept excellent communication with us while planning the tours, and kept us fully informed about the things we would need. Yossi even brought emergency supplies of water etc in case we didn’t have enough.
Yossi is a thoroughly engaging, likeable and professional guide, and I can recommend him very highly.

I traveled with Yossi to Ein Gedi. At Ein Gedi Yossi enthralled me with interesting facts about the animals as well as tying the hike to biblical liturgy. I also traveled with Yossi to Rosh Hanikra. He possesses an in-depth knowledge of both the geological formations and the historical significance of the sight. Yossi is an engaging and an entertaining tour guide.
